Mission Statement: The Institute for Children and Poverty (ICP) is an independent nonprofit research and development organization based in New York City. Established in 1990, ICP is dedicated to examining the issues that influence the lives of low-income families and their children, and the causes of family homelessness. We promote practical solutions to reduce family homelessness in the United States and ensure family well-being and self-sufficiency.
