Mission Statement:The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) has protected refugees, served immigrants, and upheld freedom since 1911. The USCRI network and resettlement program help thousands of refugees build new lives in the US each year. USCRI also operates the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children, which recruits and trains pro bono attorneys to represent unaccompanied children nationwide.

Additionally, USCRI is a leading public information and advocacy organization. USCRI leads hundreds of nongovernmental organizations in the campaign to end "refugee warehousing" and publishes the World Refugee Survey and Refugee Reports, key tools for policy makers and practitioners worldwide.
