Bio:

I am a recent MA graduate in Cultural Anthropology (2008). My research interests include international migration and immigration, especially Mexico-US relations; technology adoption and usage, including Internet and cellular telephone usage; independent media; water and natural resource management; and tourism and eco-tourism. In addition to my academic career, I am a political and pop culture junkie. I have also been a volunteer with a local campus-community radio station since 2000, and have created and broadcast several different weekly radio programs over the course of my involvement.
