Over the next four years, the influx of new federal funds would create an estimated 2,000 new jobs, increase Gross State Product by $272.6 million, and increase personal income by $284.3 million. The health care industry sector is expected to experience the largest increase in jobs.
Economic activity from the new federal funds will also result in a small increase in state and local tax revenues. State and local revenues will increase by $22.6 million over the next four years.
