This study reviews the Stuart Foundation's work in the field over the past five years, and the accomplishments and challenges of its youth media grantees. The report was created in part to highlight the work of our grantees, but more so to engender discussion and continued investment in youth media as a powerful tool for positively impacting the lives of young people.
The purpose of this project was not to evaluate the merits of the individual organizations, but to learn from their experiences in order to deepen the Foundation's understanding of youth media programs and guide the Foundation's future grantmaking in this field.
