Staff
IssueLab is a small shop with big ideas and a huge ability to get things done.Right now we have two full-time staffers, , and , and we fill in all the gaps by working with a handful of people who know their thing and do it well.
We are currently looking for research and marketing interns, as well as volunteers.
The Few, the Curious:
Editorial/Research Interns
Do you feel strongly about a particular social issue? Do you know how to use the web as a research tool, not just a stand-in for your TV? Our editorial and research interns are primarily responsible for working with our monthly guest editorialists to develop the IssueLab archive. Interns are expected to work 10-20 hours a week and in return can expect to hone their online research skills, work closely with individuals who are experts in their field, and gain valuable work experience in a comfortable and creative environment. Get in touch.
Marketing Interns
Do you want to apply your social networking and online marketing skills to a project that can really make a difference? Our marketing interns are primarily responsible for working with staff to promote the valuable research that nonprofits add daily to IssueLab. Interns are expected to work 10-20 hours a week and in return can expect to gain valuable experience in both public relations and online marketing techniques. Get in touch.
The Many, the Dedicated:
Volunteers 2.0
If you care about social research and have ideas about how to help us spread the word to communities far and wide - we would love to talk with you. IssueLab is a project that is much bigger than one issue, or one nonprofit. It is the fastest growing archive of nonprofit research and it is an act of collective intelligence. In order to accomplish our mission of mainstreaming this important work we need it to be seeded in networks and communities worldwide. Get in touch.
