To restore and protect the natural environment, and to strengthen the social fabric and physical landscape of the urban community. Primary areas of interest are: 1) Protecting and restoring vital eastern U.S. ecosystems and promoting sustainable economic practices; and 2) Strengthening the urban community, concentrating on green and open space programs and youth organizing in Boston, MA, Providence, RI, and New York City.
