The foundation is committed to providing the educational and developmental opportunities to disadvantaged children and young people that enable them to fulfill their potential. Its grantmaking programs in education, youth development and early childhood development are designed to tackle the problems children and youth face in obtaining an excellent education, accessing the skills that will serve them as they transition into adulthood, and experiencing quality developmental experiences in their earliest years. It seeks to work with great leaders doing promising work that has the potential for advancing the knowledge and practice in its grantmaking fields.
