This report, an analysis of global giving data from 60 of the largest multinational companies headquartered around the world, revealed significant regional differences in how those companies gave. A country-by-country analysis of such giving indicated that contributions tended to flow primarily into geographical neighbors and emerging markets. Ultimately, business goals compel corporate giving departments' decisions on where and how much to give. The aggregate, total giving reported by respondent firms was United States Dollar (USD) 6.8 billion. All of this went to grantees meeting the three Global Guide criteria for qualified recipients.
