This report is an overview of Hollard's Payroll Giving Challenge and Key Outcomes. Payroll giving has been component of Hollard's commitment to corporate social investment (CSI) since November 2008. As of 2011, 10.7% of Hollard staff were giving through the programme, which is higher than the average uptake of 2.9% among staff at British companies. In september 2012, Hollard's CFO, Brooks Mparutsa, challenged staff to give more. 'Brooks's Challenge' encouraged individuals who had not previously given to give and even prompted some individuals to increase their monthly pledges.
