This paper summarizes a research initiative undertaken by AEO, and funded by the Mott Foundation, to explore these ideas:
- How can we help youth with limited assets to start their own businesses?
- How can we expose more youth to holistic entrepreneurship training so that they are not onlymore equipped to start businesses but also more employable?
- How can we encourage small businesses, especially microbusinesses, to train and hireOpportunity Youth?
- And finally, how can we encourage non-profits in the microbusiness industry to train and hire Opportunity Youth?
